Pros of Biking to Class - MM #2 - OOC #1 - Preview

The majority of students living on Michigan State University's campus ride a bike to class because it's more efficient than other transportation modes available.

Bikes Service Center Manager Tim Potter oversees the entire bike operation at Michigan State University, and he believes biking is the most efficient method of transportation on campus.

Potter said, "MSU has a very bike friendly environment for students to take advantage of, and the bike lanes allow students to avoid the congested sidewalks, so they can travel at a faster rate."

Michigan State Student Ryan Smith rides a bike everyday to class, and has never experienced any problems with his bike.

Smith said, "I ride a bike to class because it's fast and efficient.  I can travel from my dorm to any of my classes in less than 10 minutes, which is really fast for a campus of this size."
